Which gate should I choose?

Safaris currently run from two gates: Tiktoli (from Sheopur via Sesaipura — best if you come from Kota or Sawai Madhopur) and Ahera (from the Pohri side — best from Gwalior, Shivpuri, Indore or Bhopal). The third gate, Peepalbawdi, is not open yet. Our safaris run only from Tiktoli Gate — we don't book Ahera Gate safaris. Read more: Kuno National Park gates.

What will I see?

Kuno is home to India's cheetahs — 60 in India as of October 2026 — along with leopards, striped hyenas, sloth bears, nilgai, deer and 200+ bird species. See cheetahs in Kuno and Kuno wildlife.

Where to stay

There are very few stays near the park. The closest is Kuno Resort on the Sesaipura highway by the Kuno river; most visitors stay in Sheopur town. Full guide: where to stay near Kuno.
