Kuno National Park season
Kuno is open for safaris every year from 1 October to 30 June. It stays closed from 1 July to 30 September during the monsoon.
Daily safari timings
We run two safaris every day:
- Morning safari — 06:00 AM
- Afternoon safari — 03:00 PM
Each safari lasts about 3 hours and covers 30–35 km inside the park in an open Gypsy with a guide.
Best time to visit Kuno
October to March is the most comfortable time, with pleasant days and cool mornings — carry a light jacket for the 6 AM safari in winter. From April to June it gets hot, so the early morning safari is the better choice. Whatever the month, book ahead to get your preferred slot.
What to carry
- ID proof — Aadhaar card (Indians) or passport (foreigners)
- Water, cap or hat and sunscreen
- Binoculars or a camera if you have them
- Earthy-coloured clothes (green, khaki, beige)
